In 2008 Marine Power Systems was founded by Dr Gareth Stockman and Dr Graham Foster, two people with a shared obsession – harnessing the potential of marine energy.

Today, we’re still as obsessed – but there are more of us. Over 30 of the world’s leading experts in deep-water offshore wind. We’re frequently joined by some of the best brains in the business – people whose hands-on experience adds huge value to our work.

Our Story

We began with an idea, which has turned us into one of the leading marine energy technology developers in the market. We take nothing for granted: we’ve spent more than 15 years investigating the best way to deploy offshore wind in deeper water.

In this time, we’ve tried and tested literally thousands of approaches. Our learnings along the way have proven invaluable to our success – and today we’ve arrived at a solution that makes deep-water wind power deployment a practical reality.
